Congratulations and thanks to everyone that submitted entries for this year's National Potato Chip Day greeting card contest. We had a few entries, and I've picked two to share with you all. Honorable Mention This is for all the submissions (to Contact Us) where someone thinks Potato Chip World makes chips, or is the manufacturer listed in our Chipography. I receive so many inquires from people that believe I work for a specific brand (NOTE: I don't). This persists despite language on the Contact Us page that states this.
It doesn't bother me, I find it amusing. I'll always reply and direct folks to a way to contact the manufacturer. Because The More You Know, right?
Samples may include thoughts such as "why don't I make buffalo ranch chips anymore" or "when I had your salt & vinegar chips I was like WHAT?!? Those chips are the BOMB!"
Since these are not sent in the spirit of the competition, I've not considered them for greeting card contest. The Runner Up Thanks to Kerryn from Australia, who came up with this fun idea: FRONT (A picture of chips with smiley faces and arms and legs dancing [the] can can) "I hope you're chipper..." INSIDE Cause today's national potato chip day - lets celebrate!
